Robert Crawford

Robert Crawford was born in Bellshill in 1959. His collections of poetry include Spirit Machines (1999), and a selection of his work appears in Penguin Modern Poets 9 (1996). His biography of Robbie Burns will be published by Jonathan Cape and Princeton University Press next year. He is Professor of Modern Scottish Literature at the University of St Andrews.
