Free lunch this Wednesday in Trafalgar Square!
Monday 14th of December 2009 Rally your friends, family and colleagues and come along to Trafalgar Square THIS WEDNESDAY 16th DECEMBER to take part in FEEDING THE 5000, an event organised by Tristram Stuart to highlight the levels of food waste in the UK and internationally...and how easily they could be reduced. From 12 noon to 2pm, a team of volunteers will be preparing enough food to feed 5000 people, all made from delicious ingredients that would otherwise have been wasted. Lunch will be provided FREE OF CHARGE, leading chefs will be giving live cooking demonstrations and there will be speakers from the food and farming industries, as well as civic and spiritual leaders.
